Increased School Attendance

There has been a 30% average increase in attendance rates, and a 36% increase in enrollment. Within all of the communities we have done projects in, pre-project attendance rates averaged 61%; contrasted by an average attendance rate in all schools, 3 months post project, at 92%.

Reduction in Disease

In a recent Water Underground study in a school, 38% of children tested positive for the parasitic disease Schistosomiasis, with 82% testing positive with trace worms. After our project was completed only 2% had trace elements of worms, and zero with Schistosomiasis.

We observed a 97% reduction of cases and a complete elimination of cases of Schistosomiasis.

Wells are working

Our goal was to never be among the statistics that plague the global water sector where more than 60% of wells fail with 2 years due to poor drilling practices and lack of maintenance training by well-intentioned organizations.

After 7 years of projects, every single well is still functioning and providing water for all the community with all committees in tact and performing their duties.
